K7 Computing Signs Memorandum of Understanding with SRM Easwari Engineering College to set up Center of Excellence for Malware Analysis

Mr Keseven and Mr NirajanK7 Computing Private Limited, a global major in cybersecurity, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SRM Easwari Engineering College, a NAAC-Accredited ‘A’ Grade institution, to set-up – ‘Easwari Engineering College-K7 Center of Excellence for Malware Analysis’ that will train the students and faculties on advanced malware investigation.

The MoU aims to address the international cybersecurity skill deficit and enable students to benefit from expanding opportunities in the cybersecurity industry. K7 Computing will provide multiple levels of training to designated faculty members of Easwari Engineering College along with associated malware samples to enable independent analysis of modern malware using both static and dynamic analysis techniques, evaluation of cyber defenses, and development of solutions to counter cyberattacks.

Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, Mr. Kesavardhanan J, Founder & President of K7 Computing, remarked “Cybersecurity is a critical skill required for the undisrupted functioning of businesses that are embracing digital transformation. The boom in cyber security careers is creating lucrative and fulfilling opportunities that students can benefit from if they build the skills required to understand and combat real-world malware. TheEaswari Engineering College-K7 Center of Excellence for Malware Analysis will help students acquire these skills by providing advanced training to professors who will in turn train students and prepare them to excel in the enterprise cybersecurity sector.”

Dr. N. Sethuraman, Chief Director, SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram & Trichy Campuses) emphasized that, in addition to faculty training, the MoU also extends to internship opportunities for students, research scholars, and staff, and organizing knowledge sharing events.

Dr. R. S.
