Ambuja Neotia Group appoints Subhashish Das as Group CHRO | Subhashish Das | GCHRO
Ambuja Neotia Group, one of India’s most respected and diversified business conglomerates, has appointed Mr. Subhashish Das as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (GCHRO).
Mr. Das will be based at Ambuja Neotia Corporate office in Kolkata and will report to Mr. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman of the group. In this new role, he will lead the group’s human resource strategy, leadership capability building, talent development & culture, and organisational effectiveness initiatives across the groups’ diversified businesses.
Mr. Das brings over 30 years of extensive experience in human resource management, with a proven track record of driving business results through strategic HR initiatives. Prior to joining Ambuja Neotia Group, Mr. Das held leadership roles at prominent organizations, including President-HR & CHRO at J M Baxi Group, Mumbai, President-HR & CHRO at Alok Industries Limited, Mumbai (a Reliance Industries group company), and Vice President – Corporate HR & Personnel at Berger Paints India Limited, Kolkata.
He began his career with Ambuja Cements Limited, where he served for over a decade in various HR leadership roles in its then subsidiary, Ambuja Cement Eastern Limited, Kolkata.
Mr. Das holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the National Institute of Personnel Management, Kolkata, and an LL. B from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. He has also completed advanced management program at IIT Kharagpur.
