Hinduja Foundation appoints Mr. Raman Kalyanakrishnan as CEO to lead next phase of social impact
Hinduja Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the over 110-year-old transnational conglomerate Hinduja Group, has announced the appointment of Mr. Raman Kalyanakrishnan as its Chief Executive Officer. With over three decades of experience, including 21 years in the corporate sector and nine years in philanthropy, Raman brings a wealth of expertise in strategy, business development, marketing, and program implementation.
Mr. Raman will lead the Hinduja Foundation’s strategic initiatives, driving its philanthropic efforts in areas such as healthcare, water stewardship, rural development, education, and sustainability. His leadership will be pivotal in expanding the Foundation’s impact and enhancing its community engagement efforts.
On the appointment, Mr. Ashok P. Before joining the Hinduja Foundation, he contributed to multiple strategic initiatives at the Tata Trusts. He has also held leadership positions at Tata Strategic Management Group, Bharti Airtel, Mattel Toys, and Arvind Fashions.
Raman holds a postgraduate diploma in management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
