Ambuja Foundation and Venktesh Investment and Trading Company launch a new skill training centre in Porbandar, Gujarat
Aiming to empower youth with employable skills, Ambuja Foundation joined hands with Venktesh Investment and Trading Company (B2V Ventures) and launched a new skill training centre in Porbandar, Gujarat. The joint venture aims to train 1100 youth and equip them with essential skills in the next three years.
The new centre, BL Taparia Kaushalya Vardhan Academy, Porbandar Gujarat, featuring modern infrastructure, was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Pujya Bhaishree Rameshbhai Ojha, the Taparia Family, representatives from Supreme Industries, and officers from Ambuja Foundation. At the event, attendees and aspirants were encouraged by motivating words from M.P. Taparia, Chairman, Supreme Industries, S.J. Taparia, Executive Director, Supreme Industries V.K. Taparia, Executive Director, Supreme Industries and Ravi Nayse [1], COO, Skills and Community Development, Ambuja Foundation emphasizing the importance of industry-led training, continuous learning, and collaborative efforts in building a skilled workforce for the future in their addresses.
The centre will offer three-month training programmes in Customer Care, RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioner) Assembly, and Accounts Executive, along with a six-month programme in General Duty Assistant. To maximise accessibility and accommodate more trainees, the courses will be conducted in two shifts. The centre will also provide career counselling before enrolment, on-the-job training, soft skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship awareness and workplace etiquette and interview skills. After completing the courses, all eligible candidates will be provided with placement opportunities along with post – training and mentoring support for a year.
